Although most of the instrumental tracks were re-recorded for this album, the vocal tracks are the same as on "Dead End Kings".
As well as linking it to "...Kings", the title also refers to the stripped-down instrumentation: "the drums will be dethroned and the distorted rhythm guitars will be uncrowned".
