Def Leppard "Viva! Hysteria | Live at the Joint, Las Vegas"

Viva! Hysteria is a double live album by the English rock band Def Leppard released on 22 October 2013. The album was recorded on 29 and 30 March 2013 during the band's residency of the same name at the Hard Rock Hotel and Casino (Las Vegas).

The first disc contains Def Leppard's 1987 album Hysteria, played in its entirety, followed by an encore of two hits from Pyromania, "Rock of Ages" and "Photograph." The second disc has a selection of deeper cuts, many of which the band had not played in several years. The band performed these under the alias Ded Flatbird as the "opening act" for the show, before playing Hysteria. Tracks 1–8 are the opening set from 29 March (however excluding the fifth track played that night, "When Love & Hate Collide"). Tracks 9–15 are the opening set from the following night, 30 March. This notably ends with the band playing all of side one of the band's 1981 album High 'n' Dry. Both Ded Flatbird sets open with the band playing a short excerpt of The Who's "Won't Get Fooled Again".

Def Leppard played Hysteria in its entirety during an eleven-show residency which started on March 22, 2013 at The Joint in the Hard Rock Hotel and Casino in Las Vegas. The band played also under the fictitious name of Ded Flatbird, which came about after someone once mispronounced Def Leppard as "Dead Flat Bird". Two different opening sets of 35 mins. on each of the nights. The band showcased some fan favourites and very rare songs from the early years of the band besides playing a selection of their greatest hits, highlighting classic material from throughout their career. The “VIVA! Hysteria” show featured an elaborate set design created uniquely for the Las Vegas residency.

Def Leppard "Mirror Ball - Live & More"

Mirror Ball – Live & More is a double live album by English rock band Def Leppard released on 7 June 2011. The album contains, as well as live recordings, three new studio tracks and a DVD containing both concert and backstage footage.

The album was announced on 22 February 2011, but almost a month earlier, on 26 January 2011, Phil Collen said in an interview with WNCX that the band had already written and started recording the new songs, and said the album was planned to be released in May 2011. Release dates and the album's artwork were announced on 13 April 2011, with the album to be released on 3 June 2011 in Austria, Germany, and Switzerland, 6 June for the rest of Europe, and 7 June for North America. The album is being sold exclusively thru Wal-Mart and Sam's Club in the US

The album includes three new studio songs along with the live recordings, taken during 2008 and 2009. The new tracks include "Undefeated," composed by Joe Elliott, who described it as "a big, epic, rock anthem...kind of 'We Will Rock You' with guitars," as well as "It's All About Believin'," by Phil Collen and "Kings of the World," by Rick Savage and described by Elliott as having "a very Queen-type vocal thing," The complete track listing was announced on 7 April 2011.

During its first week on sale, the album sold approximately 20,000 copies in the United States, charting at number sixteen on the Billboard 200.

Allmusic gave Mirror Ball – Live & More a rating of three and a half out of five stars, noting the change in Joe Elliott's voice, "from a metallic screech into a coarse croon," and saying that the album was "far better than most fans will expect it to be."
