Wuthering Heights "Salt"

Salt is the fifth full-length album by Danish band Wuthering Heights. It has been received with great reviews from the fans and the press. The album takes themes that involve the sea, and other myths and tales from the sailor's culture.

As usual in Wuthering Height's albums, the mixture between genres like Power, progressive and folk metal can be noticed clearly. In this specific album it can be noticed a heavier but still melodic sound.

Wuthering Heights "Within"

Wuthering Heights is a Danish heavy metal band, with a somewhat eclectic musical style which falls in somewhere between progressive, folk, and power metal. The band is considered a Danish entity, although a number of Swedish musicians are associated with it.

The band is named after the 1847 novel by Emily Brontë.

The band was on hold from March 2011 to October 2016, due to Erik Ravn's serious back pain problems.

In 1997, the band recorded their first album for German label Prophecy Productions, but the deal fell through and this version of the album has never been officially released. The band re-recorded the entire album in 1998 for their new American label The Laser’s Edge/Sensory and as the debut album Within it was finally released in 1999.
