Saint Vitus "C.O.D."

C.O.D. (also known as Children of Doom) is the sixth studio album by the American doom metal band Saint Vitus. The album was released in 1992 on Hellhound Records. This is the only album to feature former Count Raven vocalist Christian Linderson. The band had a break after this album, but reformed with original singer Scott Reagers for their next album, Die Healing (1995).

Saint Vitus "Die Healing"

Die Healing is the seventh studio album by the American doom metal band Saint Vitus, released in 1995 by Hellhound Records. In addition to being their final album before disbanding in 1996, Die Healing saw the band reunite with the original lineup of vocalist Scott Reagers, guitarist Dave Chandler, bassist Mark Adams and drummer Armando Acosta. It would, however, be the last Saint Vitus album to feature Acosta before his death in 2010, and Reagers for 20 years until his return to the band in 2015.

In 2010, the album was reissued on limited-edition vinyl by Buried By Time And Dust Records.

An album's worth of unreleased material was written (and scrapped), before Saint Vitus started writing for "Die Healing", as a trio, with Dave Chandler on vocals. Scott Reagers was then convinced to return, on the premise that this would be their final album and tour, to "bring things full circle". The already written material was slightly adapted to a style more fitting for Reagers and they flew to Germany to record it. Reagers, however, quit the band again 10 days into the subsequent tour, leaving the band to cancel the remaining dates and split unceremoniously.

According to Dave Chandler, this is Saint Vitus' "best produced album" of their first run. He picked producer Harris Johns based on his work with Sodom.

Saint Vitus "Saint Vitus"

Saint Vitus is the debut album by the American doom metal band Saint Vitus, released Friday the 13th of January 1984 via SST Records. According to Dave Chandler, the album was recorded in 1982, but was delayed by nearly two years, due to a lawsuit that SST was involved in. It was released on both vinyl and cassette, and later on CD; all three formats are currently difficult to find. "White Magic/Black Magic" and "Saint Vitus" are included on the compilation album Heavier Than Thou. Along with Trouble's Psalm 9, Saint Vitus is considered by many critics one of the first doom metal albums to be released.

"Burial at Sea" was later recorded by Goatsnake and released on their Trampled Under Hoof EP.

Saint Vitus "Lillie: F-65 (2012 Limited Edition Digipak, CD+DVD)"

Lillie: F-65 is the eighth studio album by American doom metal band Saint Vitus, released on April 27, 2012 (May 22, 2012 in the United States). This is the first Saint Vitus studio album since Die Healing (1995) and the only one to feature Scott "Wino" Weinrich on vocals in 22 years, since V (1990). It also marks their first album with Henry Vasquez on drums, and their final release with bassist Mark Adams, who left the band in 2016 due to Parkinson's disease.

In an interview, Wino explained the album title name was in reference to a powerful downer back in the day and that Dave Chandler "really had a thing for his downers."

On March 23, 2012, a 7" single of "Blessed Night" was released (coupled with "Look Behind You", which was recorded live in December 2010 at Z7 in Pratteln, Switzerland). The single was limited to 1,000 hand-numbered copies.

On April 3, 2012, Saint Vitus released a video for the song "Let Them Fall", which was produced and directed by Michael Panduro of Siegfred Productions for SCION A/V.

Saint Vitus "Born Too Late"

Born Too Late is the third studio album by the American doom metal band Saint Vitus, which was released in 1986. This was the first Saint Vitus album featuring former The Obsessed singer Scott "Wino" Weinrich. It is generally cited as their best selling release.

All the songs from this album (except "The War Starter") are featured on the compilation album Heavier Than Thou.

On April 11, 2009, "Dying Inside" was performed by the band with Phil Anselmo as a guest in New Orleans.
