Dellamorte were a Crust/Punk influenced Death Metal band from Avesta, Sweden. They were active from 1994 to 2001.

Deliverance "Deliverance (USA, Intense Records, CD09072)"

Deliverance is the 1989 debut album by the Christian speed/thrash metal band Deliverance. The original Intense Records pressing is now considered a valuable collectable. 

It was reissued, minus 2 songs in 1998 on KMG Records as a two-disc set along with the 1990 album Weapons of Our Warfare. It was officially re-released late 2008 with two bonus tracks on Retroactive Records. 

The album was ranked at No. 44 on Metal Hammer's top 50 thrash metal albums of all-time list. In 2010, HM Magazine listed Deliverance No. 31 on its Top 100 Christian Rock Albums of All Time list stating that "'If You Will' into 'The Call' is almost as good as metal gets (-Doug Van Pelt)" and that "this record would forever change and impact me and the Christian metal music scene as we knew it!"(-Bill Balford). Heaven's Metal fanzine ranked it No. 3 on its Top 100 Christian metal albums of all-time list. About.com writer Dan Marsicano wrote "Metal with a religious concept is not for everybody, and Deliverance doesn’t try to pander to the secular crowd. So, if you don’t mind a little preaching, their music is straight-to-the-gut thrash metal at a time where the genre was getting more expansive with its themes and sound. For giving Christian metal a thrash hero to rally behind, Deliverance gets the nod for this week’s Retro Recommendation."

Delain "Dark Waters (Russia, Soyuz Music, NPR1141)"

Delain is a Dutch symphonic metal band formed in 2002 by keyboardist Martijn Westerholt. After his departure from Within Temptation in 2001, Westerholt formed Delain the following year, intending for the band to be solely a project, but stopped after the release of one demo. In 2005, Westerholt restarted Delain alongside singer Charlotte Wessels, and released the debut studio album, Lucidity, in September 2006. The band began to perform publicly following the positive reception the album received.

Dark Waters is the seventh studio album by the Dutch symphonic metal band Delain. It was released on 10 February 2023 via Napalm Records.

It is the first studio album to feature Ludovico Cioffi on bass and Diana Leah on lead vocals. The album also marks the return of drummer Sander Zoer and original guitarist Ronald Landa.

On 15 February 2021, it was announced that Delain's lineup had split up, and that it would be continuing with a new lineup that Westerholt stated would continue to "keep Delain alive", which consists of new and previous members.

The band's new lineup was fully announced on the release of the first single, "The Quest and the Curse", on 9 August 2022, as well as announcing their new lead vocalist, Diana Leah. The second single, "Beneath", was released on 29 November 2022. Simultaneously on the same day of the single's release, the band announced the title of their upcoming seventh studio album, Dark Waters, with a release date of 10 February 2023. The third single, "Moth to a Flame", was released on 10 January 2023.

Defiance "Void Terra Firma [Japan, F.E.M.S., APCY-8019]"

Void Terra Firma is the second album by American thrash metal band Defiance, released in 1990. It was the first album to feature vocalist Steev Esquivel. It was advertised as being recorded "Live and in Your Face!"

This is Defiance's best known album, as it features their cover of Iron Maiden's "Killers".

Def Leppard "Euphoria (Special Limited Edition, UK, Bludgeon Riffola/Mercury Records, 546 307-2)"

Euphoria is the seventh studio album by English rock band Def Leppard, released on 8 June 1999 in the United States and on 14 June 1999 in the United Kingdom by Mercury Records. The album aimed to return to their signature sound made famous by the band in the 1980s. It was produced by the band with Pete Woodroffe. The album charted at No. 11 on the Billboard 200 and No. 11 on the UK Albums Chart. It includes the song "Promises", which hit the number one spot on Billboard's Mainstream Rock chart.

Following Slang, the band was initially unsure of which direction to take [citation needed] upon reconvening in April 1998. "We just let ourselves go in any way we wanted," recalled Joe Elliott. With Slang we did: we said we're not gonna do the typical Def Leppard things. But with Euphoria we didn't rule them out… because it had been eight [sic] years since Adrenalize. That's a long time to have abandoned your main style of music. So we embraced it."

Former producer Robert John "Mutt" Lange returned for four days. "It was a bit weird, because he wasn't working the same way," recalled Elliott. "He wasn't hands-on. He was more observant. He'd say, 'Stop,' and make a suggestion… We also wrote another song where we did kind of start from scratch. We said, 'Let's do something really off the wall.' That ended up being the song 'All Night' – all groovy noises and orgasmic songs." Three songs were co-written with Lange, who performed backing vocals (as he had on other albums): "It's Only Love", "All Night" and "Promises".

A song first recorded by Vivian Campbell's side band Clock, "To Be Alive", received a Leppard makeover. For the first time since 1981's High 'n' Dry, an instrumental was included: Phil Collen's "Disintegrate". This instrumental was known before as "Spanish Sky", a ballad that evolved into this track.

1996 Formula One racing champion Damon Hill, a neighbour of Rick Savage, would contribute a guitar solo to the track "Demolition Man".

In its first week of release, Euphoria sold over 98,000 copies in the U.S. and just missed the Top 10 of the Billboard 200, reaching No. 11. First single "Promises" topped Billboard's Mainstream Rock chart in June 1999, a spot the band had not held in six years.

Euphoria would later be certified gold in the US, Canada and Japan. The album-supporting tour stretched from May 1999 to September 2000.

The album was released for the first time on vinyl on 21 June 2019, as a part of The Collection: Volume 2 box set. It was then issued on its own in 2022.

Euphoria received fairly positive reviews. Rating the album 4 out of 5, Stephen Thomas Erlewine of AllMusic notes in his retrospective assessment that despite the band returning to their signature sound "no longer guarantees a hit at the close of the '90s", Euphoria is "a tight, attractive album with more than its share of big hooks, strong riffs, and memorable melodies." He concludes by saying that "what's best about Euphoria is that it's utterly not self-conscious. Def Leppard feels free to try straight pop, appropriate Gary Glitter riffs, or play straight metal, without caring whether it's hip or commercial. That doesn't mean Euphoria is a classic, but it does mean that it's their most appealing effort in over a decade."

Greg Kot of Rolling Stone, however, was more critical. He notes that "the defining characteristic of Euphoria is its bloodlessness, from the robotic drum tracks to the disconcertingly inhuman tone of those trademark massed vocal choruses", concluding that "the flesh-and-blood Def Leppard apparently never made it out of the Eighties alive."

Def Leppard "Rock Of Ages: The Definitive Collection (Mexico, Bludgeon Riffola, 9829356)"

Rock of Ages: The Definitive Collection is the North American version of the second compilation album by the English rock band Def Leppard. The two-disc anthology featuring 35 hit songs by the band and was released in North America on 17 May 2005. The album charted at No. 10 on the Billboard 200.

Its worldwide release equivalent, Best of Def Leppard, has a slightly different track listing, different artwork, different "previously unreleased" song and was released on 25 October 2004.

This is the only Def Leppard hits compilation (as of now) that features the full-length version of "Bringin' On the Heartbreak" that fades into the instrumental "Switch 625" .

Originally released only in North America, Rock of Ages was released in Europe on 28 January 2008.
