Hexenhaus "The Edge of Eternity"

Hexenhaus did not exactly split up after Awakening, they morphed into Memento Mori, and then back into Hexenhaus. Most of the songs on Memento Mori's debut were written for a then new Hexenhaus record.

According to a dedication on the back of A Tribute to Insanity, the band's name, German for "Witch's Cottage", is a reference to the Malefizhaus (aka Drudenhaus, Hexenhaus, Hexengefängnis) in Bamberg, Germany, where hundreds of suspected witches were tortured and executed during the early 17th century.

The Edge of Eternity is their second album, released November 1st, 1990.
