Månegarm "Vargaresa - The Beginning"

Vargaresa is a compilation album containing Vargaresa and Ur Nattvindar, two earlier demo albums by the Viking metal band Månegarm. It was released in 2004.

'Vargaresa' means "Wolf's Journey".

Discrepancies between the tracklenghts of the original demos and the 'Vargaresa - The Beginning' compilation are due to slight speed differences on cassette-tapes.

'Det Sargade Landet' was re-recorded and used on the band's debut album, 'Nordstjärnans Tidsålder'.

At the end of 'Ur Nattvindar' there's a hidden track; a rehearsal version of the song 'Ett Gammelt Troll'.

Tracks 1-4: "Vargaresa" demo (1996), recorded at Studio Underground in May 1996.

Tracks 5-9: "Ur Nattvindar" demo (1997), recorded at Sunlight Studio in February 1997.
