Moonsorrow "Suden Uni"

Suden uni ("Wolf's Dream") is the first full-length album by Finnish pagan metal band Moonsorrow. It was originally released in 2001, and then re-released in 2003 with one bonus track (a Finnish lyrics version of the traditional Swedish song "Kom nu gubbar"), different cover art, and a 40-minute DVD.

Track listing
  1. "Ukkosenjumalan poika" ("Son of Ukko") 6:09
  2. "Köyliönjärven jäällä (Pakanavedet II)" ("On the Ice of Köyliönjärvi (Pagan Waters II)") 6:30
  3. "Kuin ikuinen" ("As Eternal") 7:20
  4. "Tuulen koti, aaltojen koti" ("Home of the Wind, Home of the Waves") 4:02

  8. "Tulkaapa äijät!" ("Come Along, Fellows!", 2003 reissue bonus track) 3:14
Total length: 46:07

The name of the band was inspired by Celtic Frost's song "Sorrows of the Moon".

In spite of the final release date, most of the material was already composed in 1999. There are two different Plasmatica pressings of the album: the original edition of 1000 copies and the one after that. Between them the booklet layout was modified, but all audio material has been left untouched.

Later the album was (re)mastered and re-released in 2003 with different artwork on Spinefarm Records

Note: Matrix/runout code WAR000028 is a fake and should be considered as a bootleg release!!! The only genuine code is GZ M32221 PR003. And it is the same on the 2nd pressing. This information has been approved by Moonsorrow themselves.
