Kiss the Goat is the debut album by Swedish black metal band Lord Belial. It was released in 1995 through No Fashion Records. In April 2014, Greek label Floga Records reissued Kiss The Goat for the first time on LP. This edition is limited to 250 copies black vinyl and 250 copies dark purple with black splatter vinyl; Both colors have slightly revised cover artwork — in the originally intended dark purple rather than the production error pink on the No Fashion pressing — and the new Lord Belial band logo. Floga Records would again reissue it as part of a limited 6LP Lord Belial boxset which was released in September 2014.

Recording information:
Co-Produced Lord Belial at Soundfront Studios 21/11-30/11, 1994.
Music by Lord Belial, but on the re-recorded version of "Satan Divine" on the 2002 "Angelgrinder" album is Niclas Andersson credited as the creator of the music.
Lord Belial left their old label, No Fashion Records, when they refused to release the song "Purify Sweden". The song is about strong Swedish patriotism relating to war and anti-religion. It was later released as a vinyl single under a different label.
The band decided to officially split-up in January 2009. The main reason for this is a hearing problem (tinnitus) that has grown into a quite big problem for Micke in the last years. The other members in the band were not forced to put an end to the band, but instead mutually agreed that finding another drummer was not a solution for the future. They eventually reunited with the original line-up a year and a half later.
On November 18th, 2015, the band announced the following on their Facebook page: "We have decided to cancel all our coming live shows due to health issues and lack of motivation within the band. Only time will tell if we ever decide to start playing live again. No interviews will be answered."
