1666... Théâtre Bizarre is the second studio album by the French progressive death metal band Misanthrope. It is sung in English on tracks 1, 3, 5 and 8; French on track 2, 4, 6, 7, and 11; and German on track 10.

"Schattengesang" is the German version of "Le roman noir", a track that can be found on "Brutale generation" a French compilation of the same year. Misanthrope / Holy didn't have the rights to release this song as is, so the band re-recorded it and changed the lyrics' language.
