Behemoth "Demonica (Unofficial Release, Limited Digibook Edition, Russia, CD MAXIMUM, CDM 0707-2730/2731/d)"

Demonica is the first compilation album by Polish extreme metal band Behemoth. The boxset includes demos plus previously unreleased and re-recorded songs from Behemoth's "old school" days when they still played traditional black metal.

The boxset is limited to 10,000 copies and comes packed as an exclusive A5 digibook/slipcase with a 44-page book including rare photos and lyrics. It is also known that a limited edition gatefold double vinyl pressing was released, which is limited to 525 copies. It was re-released as a digipack containing all the original liner notes and lyrics from the box set through the band's current Metal Blade label in 2011.

Recording information:

On disc one, tracks 1-8 are taken from the "Return of the Northern Moon" demo, but the order of tracks 5 and 6 have been switched from the original version, track 3 doesn't appear on original demo as separate track. Tracks 9-11 are previously unreleased, and track 11 is re-recorded version.

Tracks 9-10 were recorded in December 1994 during "Sventevith (Storming Near the Baltic) recording sessions.

Track 11 recorded in Hendrix Studio during "Demigod" recording sessions in 2004, and vocals recorded in 2005.

The lyrics for "Bless Thee for Granting Me Pain" were written by Nethor and were later used by Ragnarok for the "Blackdoor Miracle" album

On disc two, tracks 1-7 are taken from the "From the Pagan Vastlands" demo. Tracks 8-12 are previously unreleased. Tracks 8-10 are alternate versions of their respective songs (taken from pre-production tape recorded in Studio 7, 24.09.1993), and track 12 is re-recorded version.

Track 12 recorded in Hendrix Studio during "Demigod" recording sessions in 2004, and vocals recorded in 2005.
