Dead World "Collusion"

Dead World was an Industrial Death Metal band from the United States.

Members Jon Canady (vocals), Kevin Kopp (guitar), and Greg Knoll (drums) initially played in the hardcore punk band Velcro Overdose, which also included bassist Mike Day.

Their 7" Flesh Ripping Sonic Polka was the first ever release on Relapse Records. After parting with Day (who remains active in the Denver electronic music scene), the remaining members formed Dead World. Knoll left following Collusion (but contributed artwork to all future releases) and Kopp exited after The Machine. Canady appears to have discontinued this project around 1999.

After the dissolution of Dead World, Canady began Deathpile, a power electronics project which was discontinued in 2004. He is currently working on a drone/power electronics project called Angel of Decay.
