Agressor is a French death metal band which started in 1986.

Agressor were one of the legendary bands who formed the death metal scene in France in the late '80s.

Formed in June 1985 under the name Kataclism, a name which ceased to exist in June 1986. No gigs or recordings took place under the original moniker, but songs were written that would later be performed and recorded by Agressor, which Alex founded in late August 1986 after a short appearance in the heavy metal band Metral.

Agressor were the first French metal band to be signed to a larger international label.

Symposium Of Rebirth is their third album, released in 1994.
