In Flames "Trigger (CD+DVD, EP, Japan, Toy's Factory, TFCK-87320, Video)"

Trigger is a song by Swedish heavy metal band In Flames from their 2002 album Reroute to Remain. A standalone version of the song was released as an EP on 10 June 2003, including bonus tracks. The title song was used on the soundtrack for the 2003 film Freddy vs. Jason.

The music video for "Trigger" showed the band playing in a club and being constantly pestered and booed by the members of Soilwork, with interspersed footage of other incidents between the two bands. Soilwork's video for "Rejection Role" showed the situation vice versa, Soilwork playing and In Flames as the bullies. The colour is also reversed in each video: blue for In Flames, red for Soilwork. Both videos also had the other band riding in a pickup truck to and from the club. While some believed the tension between the two bands to be real, in reality the groups are close friends and devised the idea of a dual-video concept as a joke.

In Flames "Reroute To Remain: Fourteen Songs of Conscious Insanity (Germany, Nuclear Blast, NB 624-2/27361 66242)"

Reroute to Remain (subtitled: Fourteen Songs of Conscious Insanity, and on reissue: Fourteen Songs of Conscious Madness) is the sixth studio album by the Swedish metal band In Flames. The album saw a major change in musical style and was In Flames' second considerable step in the direction of a new sound, and was met with rejection among many of their fanbase. The album's more accessible sound attracted many new fans and popularized In Flames' name within the American heavy metal scene, helping to secure a top spot at Ozzfest. This was the band's first album to present singles, which were "Trigger" and "Cloud Connected".

Despite initially receiving a mixed response from fans, the album received mostly favorable reviews.

In 2005, Reroute to Remain was ranked number 326 in Rock Hard magazine's book of The 500 Greatest Rock & Metal Albums of All Time.

The album peaked at No. 13 on the Billboard Independent Albums chart.

In Flames "Whoracle (Japan, Toy's Factory, TFCK-87134)"

Whoracle is the third studio album by Swedish heavy metal band In Flames, released on 18 November 1997. The title of the album is a portmanteau of the English words "whore" and "oracle". It is the final In Flames album to feature Johan Larsson and Glenn Ljungström. It is also the last release with Björn Gelotte playing drums, as he permanently switched to lead guitar in future releases.

In 2020, it was named one of the 20 best metal albums of 1997 by Metal Hammer magazine.

Apart from "Everything Counts", which is a cover of a Depeche Mode song, all songs were composed and arranged by In Flames. The lyrics were translated by Dark Tranquillity guitarist Niklas Sundin, as Anders Fridén was not confident in his English.

Fredrik Nordström noted that it was not easy to record at times, since the band members usually preferred drinking beer and playing Tekken 3.

While some regard Whoracle as a concept album, guitarist Jesper Strömblad denied this. He acknowledged reading reports that Fridén came up with a story around the end and rebirth of the world, but recalled events differently and said the album wasn't solely about that.
