Enuff Z'Nuff "Animals With Human Intelligence (Japan, Arista, BMG Victor Hard 'N' Heavy Dynamites Series, BVCA-608)"

Animals with Human Intelligence is the third studio album by the American rock band Enuff Z'nuff and is also their only album on Arista Records. Original drummer Vikki Foxx left the group right after the recording sessions ended, to join Vince Neil's band. In addition to the promotional video for the song "Right by Your Side," the band made a live appearance on the Late Night with David Letterman TV show, performing the song "Superstitious". The song "Innocence" was released as a follow-up single, however, none of the album's singles charted on the US Hot 100.

This record was not as successful as their prior releases in the US, but the band did find some success overseas. Singer Donnie Vie and bassist Chip Z'Nuff did a promotional tour of Japan, where the album peaked at No. 49 on the Oricon Charts. The Japanese issue of the album also included the exclusive track "Fingertips". The album was later re-issued in 2000 on Spitfire Records with new artwork and "Fingertips" now included.

In 1996, the song "Bring It On Home" was to be featured in the movie Jerry Maguire, starring Tom Cruise. However, the song only appears listed in the credits and was not in the actual film, since it was in a deleted scene. The song "Rock N World" was featured in the 2011 direct-to-video film Dahmer vs. Gacy.

The song "Right by Your Side" was covered by the Norwegian rock group The Tuesdays in 1994. The same song was also covered in 2009 on G.O.O.D. Morning, G.O.O.D. Night by Malik Yusef, a Kanye West collaboration album. Yusef's version of the song also features Destiny's Child singer Michelle Williams on backing vocals.

Enuff Z'Nuff "Strength (Japan, ATCO Records, AMCY-240)"

Strength is the second studio album by the American rock band Enuff Z'nuff, released in 1991. The band had positive momentum at the time of the album's release, including an appearance on the Late Show with David Letterman, as well as Rolling Stone calling them "The Hot Band of 1991." Although Strength quickly entered the British charts at No. 56, the album peaked at only No. 143 in the United States.

In 2007, lead singer and guitarist of Enuff Z'nuff, Donnie Vie, released the album Extra Strength, an acoustic reworking of the 1991 recording. Strength was re-issued June 2011 in Japan on the SHM-CD format.

The Encyclopedia of Popular Music called the album "an impressive and mature musical offering that combined infectious hooks, abrasive guitar work and a sparkling production to dramatic effect." The Washington Post wrote that it "is actually quite likable, with a melodic flair that renders such songs as 'Heaven or Hell' and 'Blue Island' as agreeable as, say, middling Badfinger." The Province thought that "as the hair drops and the lip gloss is wiped away, Enuff Z'Nuff slowly is letting its real personality show - a group that really wants to be the hard rock equivalent of The Beatles or, failing that, the glam-rock Cheap Trick or, at least, the bastard children of Slade and The Raspberries."

Enuff Z'Nuff is the debut studio album by American glam metal band Enuff Z'Nuff, released on August 18, 1989, through Atco Records. This debut album continues to be the best selling album in the band's catalog. The album's first single, "New Thing", received steady radio and MTV airplay, peaking at No. 67 on the Billboard Hot 100. Their follow-up single, a ballad called "Fly High Michelle," would prove to be the band's biggest hit, peaking at No. 47 on the same chart. Promotional CDs were created for another song, a ballad called "For Now," but this single was apparently cancelled while the band focused on their follow-up record, 1991's Strength. By 1991 the album had sold 300,000 copies.

Additional exposure for the album occurred with the album tracks "Hot Little Summer Girl" and "I Could Never Be Without You" being featured on the popular TV shows Beverly Hills, 90210 and Northern Exposure. A few years later, the band's glam appearance in their video for "Fly High Michelle" would be parodied on MTV's Beavis & Butt-head.

The video for "New Thing" was placed on New York Times list of the 15 Essential Hair-Metal Videos.
