Elend "A World In Their Screams (Digisleeve, France, Holy Records, HOLY 114 CD)"

A World in Their Screams is the seventh album by neoclassical band Elend, and the third and final album in the Winds Cycle.

Originally planned for release in the first quarter of 2006, it was announced on May 10, 2006 that the album's release would be delayed until late 2006 or early 2007 due to difficulties in the mixing process and a dispute between Elend and the record label. The album was finally released on April 23, 2007.

Elend "Les Ténèbres du Dehors (Digipak, France, Holy Records, HOLY17CD)"

Les Ténèbres du Dehors is an album by neoclassical band Elend. It is the second in the Officium Tenebrarum trilogy.

The album was remastered and re-released in April 2001 with a bonus track called Birds of Dawn (originally on a Holy Records sampler) with a red-tinted cover, instead of the original blue.

"Les ténèbres du dehors" means "Darkness from Outside". It is the second part of the (Latin-titled) "Officium Tenebrarum". So, basically, "Les ténèbres du dehors" has the unwritten subtitle "Officium Tenebrarum (pt.2)".

Elend "Leçons de Ténèbres (France, Holy Records, HOLY 08 CD)"

Leçons de Ténèbres is the debut album of the neoclassical band Elend. It was the first in the Officium Tenebrarum trilogy.

The lyrics to four songs (Chanting, Into Bottomless Perdition, Lucifer and The Emperor) are texts adapted from John Milton's Paradise Lost.

Concept in three parts based on Catholic masses that were meant to depict darkness to the believer and have him both afraid and happy to celebrate the resurrection of Jesus Christ at the end of these three masses. Weeping Christ taken from the little "Passion" (1509/1511).

"Les Leçons de ténèbres" is the (French) title of the three masses that were called, in Latin, "Officium Tenebrarum". So, basically, "Les Leçons de ténèbres" has the unwritten sub-title "Officium Tenebrarum (pt.1)".
