Fermenting Innards was a German Death/Black Metal band, formed in Berlin, Germany in 1991. 

Myst is their sole full-length, released September 1995.

Mortiis "Crypt Of The Wizard"

Crypt of the Wizard is a compilation album by Norwegian solo artist Mortiis, released in 1996.

Recorded in Norway, it was initially a series of 5 12" EP singles, with the EPs press run consisting of 1,000 copies.

And it is an compilation of the 5 EPs released in 1996.

Re-released in 1999 by Earache Records with a different cover.

Every song released on 5 double-sided 12" EPs. Every vinyl has different colour.

For the first release Mortiis used artwork by famous artist John Bauer, but didn't have the rights, so the booklet says "artwork by unknown" and this caused a lawsuit by the museum that owns the right to the art.

The second release had new (more simple) artwork with just some pics of Mortiis himself.

The third release came with slipcase and this time Mortiis got himself the rights to the artwork by John Bauer.

All music made and arranged by Mortiis '95-'96.

So what you are looking at now is not another 'Compilation', but a testimony, if you will, to the man who singlehandedly, revived the 'New Age of Black Metal' in Norway. The bands featured on this release come together for a reason that they don't expect all to understand. Each one of them had their own special relationship with Euronymous and were proud to be a part of this monumental tribute. They are all excellent at what they do. They are the new kings, the creators, the originators of their new breeds of 'Nordic Metal'. My dark Hails to them all...
