Eternal Oath "Re-Released Hatred (Russia, Mystic Empire, MYST CD 175)"

Eternal Oath is a Swedish Symphonic/Melodic Death Metal band, formed in 1991 in Stockholm, Sweden. In their 15-year existence, they released three albums, one demo, one EP and one compilation album. The group had been in the process of recording a fourth album, but ultimately disbanded in January 2007. In 2011, the band reunited and released a new album in 2013.

Two notable past members include Peter Nagy (former multi-instrumentalist for Mörk Gryning) and Ted Lundström (current Amon Amarth bassist).

Re-Released Hatred is a compilation album (So Silent and Through The Eyes Of Hatred on one CD), released in 2006.

Therion "Lepaca Kliffoth"

Lepaca Kliffoth is the fourth studio album by Swedish symphonic metal band Therion. The title refers to the qlippoth. Stylistically, it retains the aggressive riffing and sheds the harsh growls of the band's previous death metal output, while also incorporating more elements of traditional heavy metal and more pronounced gothic and symphonic elements, often leading to this album being viewed as a transitional album in Therion's discography.

For Metal Storm, the album "stands between the band's more Death roots and later symphonic grandiosity" and "turns out to be a fine piece of work, the great songwriting, mixed with Arabic-influenced keyboards is remarkable, and those mysterious lyrics just add more charm".

Deathmetal.org states that Lepaca Kliffoth "should be avoided by the serious listener" because the structural genius of earlier Therion albums is here only available as distracting ornamentation, rendering it "very cheesy radio hard rock".

Therion "Beyond Sanctorum (Germany, Nuclear Blast, NB 27361 65782)"

Beyond Sanctorum is the second studio album by Swedish symphonic metal band Therion, released in January 1992. It was re-released on 27 November 2000 under the Nuclear Blast label as a part of The Early Chapters of Revelation boxset. It contains remastered songs, as well as four bonus tracks.

The band signed a contract with Active Records after the deal with previous label Deaf Records was signed only for one album and relations between band and label [Deaf] weren't positive. Therion began to record a second full-length album in The Montezuma Studio in 1991. Before the recordings started bass guitar player Erik Gustafsson decided to leave the band in order to return home to the U.S., but Therion continued as a trio with Peter Hansson, Oskar Forss and Christofer Johnsson filling in on bass guitar.

According to Christofer Johnsson, Beyond Sanctorum saw the band exploring "different elements", like Persian traditional music, and the inclusion of clean singing—female as well as male—to accompany increased keyboard experimentations.

Deathmetal.org notes allusions to Celtic Frost and Obituary and a technique similar to that of Godflesh in layering of melodies, an approach that would be material to future black metal and death metal bands. With Beyond Sanctorum, Therion also added vibrant yet unsentimental solos and creative bass harmony to the metal music lexicon.

The lyrics of the album diverge into the occult and introduce a Lovecraftian influence with the track "Cthulhu".

After recording album, Therion started to play their first live shows in central Europe, mainly in the Netherlands and Belgium, although simultaneously band ran into a few personnel problems. Forss decided to leave the band, Hansson quit the band after health problems. The shows were played using a new lineup. Piotr Wawrzeniuk, from the band Carbonized in which Johnsson also played, took up drumming duties. The guitar was taken up by Magnus Barthelsson, an old school friend of Johnsson's, while Andreas Wahl took up the bass.

Deathmetal.org considers Beyond Sanctorum a classic of early 1990s Swedish death metal, dubbing it an "endlessly inventive" album that "stimulate[s] fantasy and thought".

'Saivon lapsi' could be translated as 'Child of Saivo'. In the folklore of the Saami people, Saivo is the underworld.

Eternal Tears Of Sorrow "Children Of The Dark Waters"

Children of the Dark Waters is the sixth studio album by Finnish symphonic death metal band Eternal Tears of Sorrow. It was released in May 2009 through Suomen Musiikki for Finland, Massacre Records for the rest of Europe and Marquee/Avalon Records for Asia. It is the second album to feature Jarmo Kylmänen on clean vocals, but his first album as an official member.

The album is in the same vein as Before the Bleeding Sun, but darker. "Angelheart, Ravenheart (Act II: Children of the Dark Waters)" is the second part of "Angelheart, Ravenheart (Act I: Before the Bleeding Sun)" from Before the Bleeding Sun. On the UK Amazon edition "Vilda Mánnu" is replaced by "Sea of Whispers (Acoustic Reprise)" as a bonus track.

The album's first single was "Tears of Autumn Rain" released in Finland on February 18 and featured vocals by Miriam Renvåg (Ram-Zet) and Heidi Parviainen (Amberian Dawn). The B-side of the single is a reworked version of "Vilda Mánnu" from the self-titled album, Vilda Mánnu. The album was mixed at Finnvox Studios (Helsinki, Finland) in March and April 2009 by Mikko Karmila and like the previous five albums, it was recorded at Tico-Tico Studios in Kemi. Lead guitarist Risto Ruuth left the band right before the release of the album, and was replaced by Mika Lammassaari (from Mors Subita).
