Woods Of Desolation "Torn Beyond Reason (Limited Edition Digipak, Germany, Northern Silence Productions, NSP 100-DG)"

La banda superó algunos problemas y finalmente lanzó un EP en noviembre de 2009 en el sello alemán Eisenwald con una edición limitada de 1.000 copias, y un año después el EP fue reeditado en vinilo. Tras su lanzamiento, Woods Of Desolation se convirtió temporalmente en un proyecto "congelado".

Pronto D. revivió el proyecto y pasó 2009 escribiendo nuevo material, que se presentará en el segundo álbum de larga duración. Sin embargo, Desolate declaró que ya no podrá dedicar tiempo a Woods Of Desolation porque está ocupado con otros proyectos. Su lugar lo ocupa temporalmente Tim (más conocido como Sorrow from Austere and Grey Waters ), quien, además de la voz, también toca la batería.

Con esta formación, en febrero de 2011, el grupo pasó al estudio, donde grabaron su segundo álbum de larga duración, el cual lleva por nombre Torn Beyond Reason . El álbum fue lanzado el 25 de febrero de 2011 por Northern Silence Productions.
