House by the Cemetery is an EP by Mortician. The album is named after cult director Lucio Fulci's 1981 horror film The House by the Cemetery. The album features samples from various horror movies.

Tracks 1 - 5 were recorded on 9/16/94 in three hours. Originally released as the "House by the Cemetery" 7" EP. Tracks 6 - 8 recorded on 7/10/95 in six hours. Tracks 1 - 8 released as part of the "House by the Cemetery" CD.

Tracks 9 - 11 recorded in Roger's basement during January 1993. Originally appeared as exclusive tracks on the Relapse "Corporate Death" compilation CD.

Tracks 12 - 14 recorded at D-D studios. August 1991. Engineered and produced by Roger Beaujard and Will Rahmer. Originally released as the "Mortal Massacre" 7" EP on Relapse Singles Series.

Tracks 15 - 17 recorded at Sleepy Hollow Sound February 21st - 22nd 1990. Originally released as "Demo #1990" and then as the "Brutally Mutilated" 7" EP on Seraphic Decay Records.

Tracks 12 - 17 remastered and reissued in 1993 as part of the "Mortal Massacre" CD on Relapse Records.
