Ataraxie "Slow Transcending Agony"

Ataraxie is a Funeral Doom/Death Metal band from France, formed in 2000.

The word "Ataraxia" was used by ancient Greeks to describe the freedom from worry or any other preoccupation. To both Stoics and Epicureans, it was the only true happiness possible.

Slow Transcending Agony is their debut album, released June 2005.
