The Gathering "Downfall - The Early Years"

Downfall - The Early Years is a compilation album of the Dutch band The Gathering. The record was first released on 22 May 2001 by Hammerheart Records label. On 15 September 2008, an expanded version of the album was released by Vic Records.

Tracks 1-3 are taken from an unreleased 7". Recorded at Beaufort Studios.

Tracks 4-8 are taken from the demo "Moonlight Archer".

Tracks 9-13 are taken from the demo "An Imaginary Symphony".

Tracks 4-13 were recorded in the rehearsal room.

Disc 2 is a CD-ROM videodisc.
